Maroon 5 tiene canciones por éxitos y con "Memories" suma otro más

Es domingo y queremos hablar de una de las canciones que construyen la Mejor Variedad Musical de CADENA 100. Una canción que suena en la radio. Por tanto, miramos detalles de esta canción, de su videoclip oficial y de su letra. 

"Memories"

Primero supimos de esta gran canción y, luego, comprendimos que había algo más detrás. Algo importante. La canción está dedicada a Jordan Feldstein quien fuera manager del grupo hasta su fallecimiento en diciembre de 2017. Por eso al final del videoclip se ve un rótulo; su rótulo: "For Jordi". 

De esta canción hablábamos en su lanzamiento en septiembre de 2019 y, desde aquel momento, nos impactó. De hecho, "Memories" fue una canción que rápidamente se puso a sonar en CADENA 100 y que, desde aquí, intuíamos un éxito inapelable. Decíamos entonces, a mediados de ese mes de su lanzamiento, que quedábamos pendientes del videoclip oficial que, luego, llegaba demostrando que la potencia visual también está en los pequeños detalles.

"Memories" ha sido escrita por Adam Levine, Jacob Kasher, Jonathan Bellion, Michael Pollack, Stefan Johnson y Vicent Ford. Su mensaje giraba en torno a la frase "Todos hacemos daño alguna vez". 

Su mensaje mira al recuerdo y brinda por él. Y lo hace suavemente con apenas acordes y coros vocales y la impecable interpretación del líder de la banda, Adam Levine. Las frases inundan de poesía este tema musical reconociendo que "mi corazón está como diciembre", el mencionado reconocimiento de que "todos hacemos daño alguna vez".Y de final, el arranque de la canción: "Esto va por todos los que quedamos".

La atracción de Adam Levine, líder de Maroon 5, es total. El vídeo comienza en negro y Adam, apenas visible, emerge entre sombras cantando y mirando a los ojos sólo a quién está detrás de la pantalla mirando. Es una sensación plácida que demuestra la potencia de la canción y de su intepretación.
