Por sus canciones los conocemos: Maroon 5

Es la novena entrega de esta colección que recuerda canciones y artistas unidos a nosotros y entre sí para siempre. Y, es así, porque cada uno de nosotros marca su imaginario musical a través de canciones por su significado, por su ritmo, por el momento en que las escuchó por primera vez, por una situación sentimental o por cualquier motivo; puede incluso que inconfesable.

Para nuestro paseo semanal miramos y escuchamos, en esta ocasión, canciones de Maroon 5 que, posiblemente, se han quedado en nuestro recuerdo y lo hagan para siempre. Pero como es muy difícil completar en un sólo lugar todas sus canciones, elegimos TRES. Sólo ese número: 3; ni una más.

3, ni una más ni una menos

Primero lo último: en cierta ocasión dije que ser fiel a una banda como Maroon 5 suele conllevar buenos momentos y uno de estos llegaba no hace mucho con el lanzamiento de "Memories", una debilidad personal y reconocida, que incorporaba en octubre pasado un videoclip y remarcaba la idea de que "Todos hacemos daño alguna vez". La segunda canción no puede ser otra que "Sugar" porque el 14 de enero de 2015 nacía un videoclip que ha superado ampliamente los 3.000 millones de visualizaciones y que quien no lo haya visto tiene que volver a hacerlo para apreciar la emoción de la visita de Maroon 5 una boda tras otra. Y la tercera, arriesgando un poco más quizá, es "Wait" que, hablando de videoclips, quien haya visualizado éste habrá quedado absorto por lo kafkiano y recordado por estar en el álbum "Red Pill Blues" de 2017.

Puede que alguna de estas canciones no sea la preferida, la deseada o quizá querríamos que estuviera aquí, también, OTRA; aquella indispensable. Seguro que asiste la razón o el conocimiento pero esta selección que traemos estará, posiblemente, en el recuerdo imborrable de muchos. Ojalá.
