Como estaba previsto, Kesha lanza sus dos nuevas canciones: 'Fine Line' y 'Eat the Acid'

Son dos piezas importantes para el proyecto que se enclava en vivencias y en su personalidad. El disco, producido por Rick Rubin, que Kesha ha etiquetado como "post-pop", será "Una colección con mucho cuerpo que fluye como un viaje consciente a través de las oscuras profundidades psicodélicas de la psique humana, seguido de disfrutar de la luz purificadora cuando llegando finalmente a la superficie".

'Gag Order', 19 de mayo

'Gag Order', tiene a la propia Kesha como productora ejecutiva. Estaremos ante un álbum diferente a todo lo que ha creado hasta ahora en su carrera, pero de alguna manera es un álbum que solo ella podría haber hecho.

Para saber a qué nos enfrentaremos nos dicen que llegará "Forjado en los fuegos del autodescubrimiento y aprendiendo a aceptar finalmente los lados feos y aterradores de nosotros mismos, 'Gag Order' se siente como un exorcismo emocional, desenterrando y enfrentando la oscuridad en uno mismo".

Estaremos ante una producción experimental y, en su temática, veremos una vulnerabilidad lírica a diferencia de todo lo que la artista ha escrito antes. En 'Gag Order', Kesha confrontará con su propio reflejo.

"Sin la oscuridad no hay luz. Así que dejo que mi oscuridad tenga la luz. No puedo luchar contra la verdad. La vida es difícil y dolorosa. Es para todos", escribió Kesha a través de Nylon añadiendo además que "Un artista no existe para hacer felices a los demás. Creo que un artista le da voz, movimiento, color a las emociones que todos tenemos. Las buenas emociones y las miserables e inmanejables".
