Llegamos a una nueva cita con esas canciones que identifican a los artistas claramente. Es la #16 entrega de nuestra colección que recuerda canciones y artistas unidos a nosotros y entre sí para siempre. Entrelazados.

Esto es así, porque cada uno de nosotros marca su imaginario musical a través de canciones por su significado, por su ritmo, por el momento en que las escuchó por primera vez, por una situación sentimental o por cualquier motivo; puede incluso que inconfesable.

Para nuestro paseo semanal miramos y escuchamos, en esta ocasión, canciones de Britney Spears.

3, ni una más ni una menos

La primera, "...Baby One More Time" que era la canción que también daba nombre al primer álbum de estudio de la cantante estadounidense. Era enero de 1999 y veíamos aquel inolvidable videoclip con la plena adolescencia de sus 16 años de edad. Fue un verdadero soplo de aire pop fresco y adolescente. Esta canción se convertía en un éxito internacional que todavía identifica plenamente a Britney.

Para la segunda de las canciones, volvemos a mirar al mismo disco y a otra canción titulada "(You Drive Me) Crazy". En el mismo álbum insistía en la misma constante musical pero se desmelenaba más para ratificar que venía para quedarse. Y hacernos bailar. Su vídeo musical estuvo supervisado a conciencia por Britney Spears y, aseguran, que quedó plenamente satisfecha con su resultado. Por supuesto, hablamos del mismo año: 1999.

Y la tercera canción, llegaba con su noveno álbum de estudio titulado "Glory" en el año 2016. Hablamos de "Make Me..." donde se vuelca en su faceta más sexy y aporta el acompañamiento rap de G-Eazy. El resultado es lo que se suele denominar una balada de medio tempo pero con un toque que ha convertido en clásico Britney. Para insistir en el lado más erótico posible la fotógrafa Randee St. Nicholas dirigía un vídeo musical que mostraba el proceso de "casting" de un modelo masculino.

Quizá alguna de estas canciones no sea la preferida, la deseada o quizá querríamos que estuviera aquí, también, OTRA; aquella indispensable. Seguro que asiste la razón o el conocimiento pero esta selección que traemos estará, posiblemente, en el recuerdo imborrable de muchos. Ojalá.
