Llegamos a la décima entrega de nuestra colección que recuerda canciones y artistas unidos a nosotros y entre sí para siempre.

Y, es así, porque cada uno de nosotros marca su imaginario musical a través de canciones por su significado, por su ritmo, por el momento en que las escuchó por primera vez, por una situación sentimental o por cualquier motivo; puede incluso que inconfesable.

Para nuestro paseo semanal miramos y escuchamos, en esta ocasión, canciones de Whitney Houston.

3, ni una más ni una menos

La primera es su primer sencillo que llegaba en 1987 y que nos mostraba a una bellísima y jovial Whitney con un videoclip, que hay que ver, para "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)"; por supuesto, ganó su GRAMMY y robó el corazón de mundo y medio. La segunda no debe ser otra que la capaz de seguir erizando la piel al escucharla: "I Will Always Love You" quiso ser cantada por todas mientras todos querían ser mirados por ella como hacía con Kevin Costner en la película de 1992 "El guardaespaldas"; por cierto, era una canción versión de la creada y cantada por Dolly Parton en los años 70. Y, la tercera, "I Look to You" con una terriblemente/resplandeciente interpretación que golpeaba con suavidad nuestro oído para decir "te miro"; era el título también de su último álbum que llegaba en el año 2009.

Puede que alguna de estas canciones no sea la preferida, la deseada o quizá querríamos que estuviera aquí, también, OTRA; aquella indispensable. Seguro que asiste la razón o el conocimiento pero esta selección que traemos estará, posiblemente, en el recuerdo imborrable de muchos. Ojalá.
