Tres años después, y con la experiencia de haberse convertido en madre de por medio después de una anunciada retirada de la industria musical, Nicki Minaj ha regresado con el lanzamiento de una nueva canción, "Do we have a problem?", el anticipo de una nueva etapa de la artista norteamericana que ya ha prometido un quinto álbum que superará las expectativas de sus fans.
Esta canción es una colaboración junto al rapero Lil Baby y en su videoclip nos demuestra sus dotes como actriz. ¡Y ya puede hacerlo bien porque el vídeo dura más de nueve minutos! Su papel es el de una agente que amenaza con iniciar un tiroteo en una subasta de arte mientras demuestra su carácter.
Su nuevo trabajo discográfico está al caer, o por lo menos es lo que asegura la artista, que sigue sin especificar una fecha concreta. Eso sí, parece que cada viernes va a ir desvelando nueva información sobre él, ¿tal vez un tema cada semana? Es de locos, pero teniendo en cuenta las ganas que tiene de publicar su nuevo disco, no sería de extrañar.
Por cierto, Nicki Minaj ha estado absolutamente fantástica en su visita al programa de James Corden, donde ha aprovechado para devolverle el golpe a Adele. Pero primero pongámonos en antecedentes, porque para ser justos tenemos que recordar que la británica se burló de ella en el pasado, también en el programa de este mismo presentador.
Adele escenificó en un coche cómo se comportaría si fuera Nicki Minaj, soltando tacos y exagerando su carácter, y parece que la rapera se la tenía guardada desde hace tiempo. La cantante ha explicado que el impacto de la imitación de la cantante británica fue tal que recibío decenas de llamadas por parte de sus familiares y amigos para advertirla.
Así que James Corden la ha retado a imitar a Adele y el resultado no ha podido ser más delirante. El público, tanto del plató como desde sus casas, que recordaban aún el vídeo del primer ataque, no podían creerse cómo se estaba tomando Nicki la justicia por su mano, así que no se ha cortado a la hora de exagerar el acento británico e intentar ser lo más pija posible. ¿Qué pensará Adele de todo esto?
