New Kids On The Block, con su "Boys In The Band ", lanza su vídeo más sarcástico

La boyband norteamericana que conocíamos a caballo entre las décadas de los 80 y los 90, retorna sin complejos. New Kids On The Block lanza el videoclip de su nueva canción, "Boys In The Band". 

Recordemos que el grupo New Kids On The Block (NKOTB)  está formado por los hermanos Jonathan Knight y Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg y Danny Wood. 

Dirigido por John Asher, el vídeo destaca la nueva y divertida canción en la que la banda escenifica un encuentro con una nueva generación de chavales entrando en su clase, en su centro de estudios.

Podemos ver, con mucho humor, un viaje a través de la historia de las bandas musicales de jóvenes (BoyBands). Uniéndose a iconos de la música pop como Lance Bass, Naughty By Nature, Debbie Gibson y Bell Biv Devoe de New Edition, además de una aparición especial de Griffin, el hijo de Joey McIntyre, el vídeo viaja en el tiempo de la manera más épica posible y sirve como un recordatorio del éxito de estas formaciones musicales.

Donnie Wahlberg remarca el humor del vídeo diciendo que “escribí la letra de la canción como un homenaje a las boybands, pero no puedes rendir tributo a las 'bandas de chicos', visualmente, sin un poco de humor autocrítico. Nadie tiene una piel más gruesa que los miembros de una boyband".

"Boys In The Band" se incluirá en la reedición aniversario del álbum que definió su carrera Hangin 'Tough, y que estará disponible el 8 de marzo. A continuación NKOTB se embarcará en su gira The MixTape Tour 2019 con invitados muy especiales como Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, Debbie Gibson y Tiffany este verano.
