Es uno de los temas del recién estrenado 'Red (Taylor's Version)' la reedición del álbum que nacía el 13 de agosto de 2012. Ahora retorna renovado y, además, suma hoy un videoclip oficial de una factura sobresaliente.
Entre las 30 canciones del disco, 'I Bet You Think About Me' llegaba cantada junto al también norteamericano Chris Stapleton en una narración del poder femenino ante una rutpura sentimental. Ahí, se incorporaba ese mensaje final al ex, "Apuesto que piensas en mi", cerrando el círculo del recuerdo.
El videoclip
Taylor Swift, protagonista femenina del vídeo, se cuela en la boda y sentimientos del que fuera su pareja sentimental. Allí, beberá sin medida, romperá la tarta y dará mucho que hablar en la celebración nupcial.
El novio en apuros es Miles Teller, actor estadounidense recordado por muchas películas desde Los cuatro fantásticos de 2015 a Divergente de 2014 o Insurgente de un añó después.
El videoclip ha sido dirigido por Blake Lively recconocida actriz y modelo que es buena amiga de Taylor.
Entre tanto, el nuevo álbum ha tenido una gran acogida. De su disco, Taylor Swift daba un dato que ahora cobra sentido y hace comprender mejor esta canción: "Red se parece a una persona con el corazón roto. Descolocada, con un mosaico de sentimientos fracturados que de algún modo consiguen encajar. Feliz, libre, confundida, solitaria, destrozada, eufórica, salvaje y torturada por los recuerdos del pasado". Eso sí, estos recuerdos del pasado, para el videoclip de 'I Bet You Think About Me', acaban dejando su sonrisa final en el rostro y un guiño de complicidad ante lo que considera una victoria ante aquel hombre con el que todo se rompió.
