Kylie Minogue estrena 'Tension', tema que da nombre a su álbum, con un videoclip del que es multiprotagonista

Es la continuación del impacto que ha sido 'Padam Padam'. La palabra "Padam" se ha introducido rápidamente en la jerga como un saludo, exclamación, verbo, sustantivo y adjetivo que lo abarca todo. Y ahora añaden tensión.

'Tension', la canción

Pretende ser otro éxito en las pistas de baile de todo el mundo y ha sido escrita por Kylie con sus colaboradores de larga habituales Biff Stannard y Duck Blackwell, así como con KAMILLE, Anya Jones y Jon Green.

El vídeo oficial acaba de ser estrenado bajo la dirección de la también colaboradora habitual Sophie Muller y en él, Kylie adopta varias personalidades diferentes en una realidad alternativa planteada como un futuro evocador y, eso sí, con un gran toque retro.

Musicalmente, un piano disco marca un ritmo que persigue toda la producción hasta el final. No en vano 'Tension' será un álbum lleno de canciones pop sensuales y brillantes destinadas para la pista de baile, eufóricas y empoderadas. Ahí incluirá once pistas plagadas de alegres melodías pop que buscan el placer del movimiento y hacernos aprovechar el momento.

'Tensión', el disco

Al hablar de 'Tension', el disco, Kylie dice: "Empecé este álbum con la mente abierta y una página en blanco. A diferencia de mis últimos dos álbumes, no había un "tema", se trataba de encontrar el corazón, la diversión o la fantasía de ese momento y siempre tratar de usarla a favor de la canción. Quería celebrar la individualidad de cada tema y sumergirme en esa libertad. Diría que es una mezcla de reflexión personal, rendición al club y subidón melancólico”.

En ese trabajo Kylie ha tenido a varios productores y siete de las pistas han sido producidas y coescritas con sus colaboradores de cabecera, Biff Stannard y Duck Blackwell. Hablando sobre el proceso de grabación, Kylie dice: “Me encantó estar de vuelta en el estudio con ellos, pero también pude beneficiarme de la grabación remota, a la que todos nos hemos acostumbrado. ¡Mi estudio móvil nunca se separó de mi lado durante un año y medio! El álbum es una mezcla de canciones que he escrito y canciones que realmente me hablaron. Hacer este álbum me ayudó a navegar tiempos difíciles y a celebrar el ahora. Espero que acompañe a los oyentes en sus propios viajes y se convierta en parte de su historia”.
