Con el optimismo por interpretación, llega este artista comprometido con el mensaje. Es una canción que explora la idea de la soledad y el deseo de ser mirado, un anhelo de no estar solo.

Dicho de otra forma, hay mucha vergüenza en ella, pero también cierto grado de autoconciencia y humor, que se escucha en letras como ésta: "Vestida como si fuera Halloween, bailando sola 'Billie Jean', rezando para que alguien me lleve a casa".

'Answer Phone' es el nuevo single del próximo álbum de Tom Odell que, por cierto, ha titulado 'Black Friday' y llegará el viernes 26 de enero de 2024.
