"Trouble In Town" de Coldplay tiene un videoclip especialmente 'irreal' pero realmente increíble

La banda británica sigue trabajando al milímetro cada uno de sus pasos musicales. En esta ocasión, nos acercan a otra vuelta de tuerca, cinematográcica ahora, con un vídeo apasionante. "Trouble In Twon" mira a mundos imaginarios con protagonistas convertidos en animales, un verdadero mundo distópico.

Un mundo ficticio

En las calles de una ciudad con tintes grises y norteamericanos, vemos cómo el protagonista y el resto de intervinientes aparecen convertidos en animales diversos, incluido un cerdo en claro guiño a los poderes fácticos.

Coldplay habla de un "nuevo y poderoso vídeo" que fácilmente vemos inspirado en la granja de animales de  George Orwell. Recordemos que este escritor briánico, Orwell, firmaba su novela satírica en 1945.

Volviendo a nuestro siglo XXI el vídeo se desarrolla en un mundo distópico poblado de animales, incluidos cerdos, zorros callejeros y un oficial de policía/leopardo. 

El vídeo ha sido dirigido por la directora y guionista irlandesa Aoife McCardle, una verdadera todo terreno en el mundo de la producción publicitaria de diversas marcas internacionales con su primer largometraje titulado "Kissing Candice" que llegó al  se estrenó en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto en el año 2017.

Fines solidarios

Coldplay sigue apostando por la solidaridad y la implicación social. En este sentido, todos los ingresos de la canción y del vídeo se dividirán entre dos organizaciones: el Proyecto Inocencia, que trabaja para anular las condenas erróneas en EEUU, y ACFS, una organización benéfica para niños vulnerables en Sudáfrica, algunos de los cuales proporcionaron la voz para la canción original. 

El resultado, mezclando una gran canción, un estupendo vídeo y una magnífica dirección social está en un producto muy recomendable de ver.
