Todo sobre 'Love Sux', el álbum de Avirl Lavigne: envolviendo de su dulzura vocal el punk más rockero

Como descubríamos en CADENA 100, la llegada de la artista sería con fidelidad a sus raíces pop/punk/rock que la impulsaron a la cima hace 20 años. Y lo haría con las 12 canciones que destapábamos.

Ahora, llega el momento de escuchar este trabajo que, como tema centra, tiene el gran 'Bite Me'.

La canadiense llega con sus treinta y siete años para proponernos música que impulse el ánimo y llevando la intensidad al máximo. Presenta su trabajo sin poder ocultar jamás que su maravilloso tono vocal es un lazo suave para todo lo que otros llevarían a un nivel diferente.

'Love Sux', energía total

Hasta el corte 7, 'Avalanche', no se apaciguan las aguas musicales de grandes e intensos oleajes y tormentas eléctricas tremendas. Y es que el grandioso ritmo en su apuesta es, directamente, definitivo y columna vertebral de este disco.

Tal es la propusta que esa canción, 'Avalanche', es un tema tan potente en mensaje como en ritmo pero que denota un cese de actividades porque tras los seis temas anteriores apacigua un tanto todo. Pero solo un instante porque, de inmediato, vuelve a la carga. Todo con permiso de 'Dare To Love Me' que sí es su momento de quietud, de balada. Aunque justo tras él viene el definitivo puñetazo punk en la mesa con 'Break Of A Heartache' para cerrar su apuesta.

Al escuchar el álbum llega un baño de música que rejuvenece un estilo poco comercial que Avril Lavigne ha remarcado para sí como seña de identidad haciéndolo necesario, tenerlo en cuenta, escucharlo y valorarlo como gran trabajo.
