The Weeknd completa "Heartless" con el videoclip oficial

Recordemos que tras su álbum "Starboy" de 2016 "Heartless" llega como una canción que da luz verde al próximo álbum de The Weeknd autodenominada por el artista como "nuevo capítulo psicótico". Será por tanto la que dará sentido al cuarto disco de estudio del artista. En todo caso, colaboraciones aparte, hay que indicar que su canción más reciente, "Call Out My Name", fue el tema principal de su EP "My Dear Melancholy" que salía en 2018.

Hace justo una semana llegaba la canción "Heartless" y ahora el videoclip. Se trata del inicio de una nueva etapa con una canción que, con el vídeo, remarca una historia de excesos nada aconsejable para nadie y que, con su dulce tono, The Weeknd afronta con agudeza y decisión protagonizando las secuencias.

Abel Tesfaye, que todos conocemos con The Weeknd, tiene también una vida personal muy trepidante que, con total seguridad, va a quedar reflejada en los temas que completen el nuevo trabajo discográfico. La última frase de este "Heartless" dice: "... no tengo corazón" que, para muchos, podría entenderse que afronta una etapa de reconocimiento y de renacimiento.

Recordemos que tras sus colaboraciones durante los últimos meses, lanza su primer single en solitario en todo 2019.

Anton Tammi ha sido el encargado de dirigir este videoclip filmado en la norteamericana ciudad de Las Vegas (Nevada, EEUU).
