Ed Sheeran toma su guitarra española y estrena versión acústica de uno de sus últimos lanzamientos: 'Shivers'

En su estreno llegaba el videoclip como una superproducción audivisual. Ahora, con sencillez aplastante recoge su versión más íntima. No en vano, Ed Sheeran nos ha contado que se trata de una canción especial para él: "La escribí al acabar la gira de 'Divide' en una granja alquilada en Suffolk, donde montamos un estudio durante dos semanas para ver qué pasaba. La escribí en tres días. Es muy diferente para mí, pero sentí que era demasiado especial como para equivocarme".

De la superproducción a la sencillez

Solo, con su guitarra y ante el micro, demuestra la potencia de directo que atesora. Es un aliciente más para esa gira que acompañará al disco. El primero de los conciertos llegará el 28 de abril de 2022 en Irlanda y, desde ese momento, se activa un despliegue que, prácticamente sin descanso recorrerá los meses de mayo a septiembre con última parada, de momento, el día 23 en la localidad alemana de Frankfurt. Por tanto, recorrerá Reino Unido, Países Bajos, Bélgica, Francia, Dinamarca, Suecia, Finlandia, Polonia, Austria, Suiza y Alemania.

Es uno de los temas del cuarto disco de estudio de Ed Sheeran que con el título de '=' se estrenará el 29 de ocutbre y llegará como un proyecto que empezaba a escribir, preparar y grabar desde el año 2017. De ello, el músico destacaba que "Ha sido un largo, largo proceso. He pasado por el amor, la pérdida, la nueva vida, el dolor y todo lo demás durante todo el período de escribirlo, y siento que es realmente un récord de edad. Nunca he estado más orgulloso de un cuerpo de trabajo, o más emocionado / nervioso para que todos ustedes lo escuchen". Tal es el plano personal del proyecto que la canción 'Visiting Hours', cuenta Ed, que "Terminé para mi amigo Michael que tristemente falleció este año".
