De esta canción Ed Sheeran ha conado que "Recuerdo estar de gira con Passenger en 2011 y hacerle tocar Let Her Go fuera del área de backstage en Concorde 2 acústicamente antes de subir al escenario. Sabía entonces lo especial que era, pero no podía haber adivinado lo increíblemente enorme que sería. Mi recuerdo favorito de la canción es que llegó al número uno en los Países Bajos en un día en el que estaba encabezando un show en el que Mike estaba abriendo para mí. Ni siquiera había tenido un top 10 en Holanda en ese momento y su canción estaba sentada en el número uno, fue una noche tan especial, y la gira a seguir. Es un honor cantar la versión regrabada de la canción con Mike 10 años después, una amistad tan duradera que ha pasado de pubs vacíos para ambos juntos hasta donde estamos ahora".
