La magia de la Navidad renueva "Last Christmas" de George Michael

George Michael y Andrew Ridgeley, hasta que se separaron en 1986, tuvieron éxitos pero, para Navidad, "Last Christmas" es algo más. Es una de las canciones inevitables de esta etapa del año que, en su lanzamiento, tenía un videoclip rodado en una estación de esquí que han visto a fecha de hoy más de 479 millones de personas.

Ahora, el videoclip de este tema musical que creó George Michael ha sido revisado tecnológicamente, remasterizado, para poder ser visualizado en "4K". El resultado final ha sido muy interesante y esperemos que otros emblemáticos clips pasen por ese filtro. Más adelante vamos a poder ver éste y el original.

Tenemos que recordar que, también, "Last Christmas" ha pasado a ser película protagonizada en el cine por Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding , Michelle Yeoh y Emma Thompson. La banda sonora de Last Christmas incluye 3 canciones de Wham! entre ellas "Last Christmas" y ‘Everything She Wants’, así como 12 de las canciones más queridas de George Michael de sus años como artista solista. De entre ellas, George Michael escribió, produjo y se encargó de los arreglos de todas las canciones excepto de “This Is How (We Want You To Get High)”, coescrita y coproducida por George Michael y James Jackman.

El proyecto de la película comenzó cuando el productor de cine británico David Livingstone (más conocido por el largometraje ganador del Premio BAFTA, PRIDE y la película con Renee Zellweger, JUDY) comentó cuánto le gustaba el famoso hit ‘Last Christmas’ de Wham! (George Michael y Andrew Ridgeley), a la actriz, productora y guionista ganadora del Oscar, Emma Thompson. Fuentes de la producción de la película desvelaron que "esa conversación sembró la semilla de una idea genial: hacer una película inspirada en ‘Last Christmas’, por lo que en la primavera de 2013, Emma Thompson visitó a George Michael en su casa de Londres, que finalmente dio el visto bueno al proyecto".
