"Ice Cream" es un tema que está sonando ahora mismo en CADENA 100

Mika ha querido contarnos de primera mano el significado de este single titulado “Ice Cream” diciendo que todo ocurrió "en un día de intenso de calor”. Además, nos ha desvelado “fue de lo ultimo que escribimos del álbum. Un álbum que hemos tardado dos años en componer. Durante este period me enfrenté a temas personales, temas serios y temas a veces dolorosos, pero ahora me siento liberado”.

Además nos relata más detalles: “era agosto en Italia. Quería salir corriendo hacia el mar o hacia cualquier sitio. Soñaba con ligues de verano con personas espectaculares que estaban fuera de mi alcance. Soñaba con esa otra persona que siempre quería ser durante el verano. En su lugar me quedaba la realidad, el calor espantoso del verano, el sudor, compromisos de trabajo con los que había que cumplir, las picaduras de avispas y todo esto sin aire acondicionado”.

El éxito musical le llegó a Mika de la mano de su single “Grace Kelly.” Un single que estaba incluido en su álbum de début Life In Cartoon Motion, que fué #1 directo en Reino Unido y otros 11 países y vendió más de 7 millones de copias en todo el mundo. Desde entonces ha lanzado otros tres álbumes de estudio de ventas multi platino, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, The Origin of Love, y No Place In Heaven. Además, MIKA cuenta con un Premio Brit en la categoría de Artista Revelación y ha sido nominado a premios Grammy, MTVs y World Music entre otros. Más recientemente su programa de televisión de la cadena italiana RA12 “Stasera Casa Mika” ganó el prestigioso premio “Rose D’Or” en 2017.
