Ha sido la propia artista la que ha reconocido que Universal Music Group ha hecho "Un trabajo INCREÍBLE remasterizando todos los vídeos musicales de Cher de los 80, en impresionante HD".

Todos los vídeos de aquella década prodigiosa de Cher se pueden visualizar en su canal de YouTube.
Como decimos, durante los ochenta, Cher pisó fuerte en Broadway y se convirtió en una de las actrices más aclamadas de la década, protagonizando películas taquilleras como Silkwood, Las Brujas de Eastwick y Hechizo de luna. Con esta última ganó el Óscar a mejor actriz. A partir de 1987, revitalizó su carrera musical lanzando una serie de álbumes y sencillos de género rock que dominaron las listas de éxitos, tales como 'I Found Someone', 'If I Could Turn Back Time' y 'The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss)'.

Su vigésimo álbum 'Heart of Stone' llegaba en 1989 superando toda previsión al vender 11 millones de copias a nivel mundial, consiguiendo tres discos de platino certificados por la autoridad oficial, RIAA. Por supuesto, se ha remasterizado el vídeo musical del primer sencillo, 'If I Could Turn Back Time' que suscitó polémica al mostrar a Cher actuando en un buque de guerra.
Otros sencillos de gran notoriedad fueron 'Just Like Jesse James', 'After All' a dúo con Peter Cetera que sirvió como tema central de la cinta Chances Are y que fue nominado al Óscar a la mejor canción original. Y, evidentemente, 'Heart of Stone' que ha pasado por la mencionada remasterización en su vídeo oficial.
Por tanto, y con todo, es buen momento para revisar o descubrir a una de las cantantes internacionales que más han remarcado su carisma y su música.
