Carrie Underwood estrenará en marzo “My Savior”, su primer álbum de 'góspel'

Si a primeros de diciembre de 2020 Carrie se asomaba a la actualidad por su colaboración con David Bisbal en “Tears of Gold”, que recordaremos luego, a inicios de 2021 anuncia un álbum.

Siguiendo además la buena acogida de su reciente álbum navideño "My Gift", ahora anuncia el disco sobre góspel: "Desde que tengo memoria he querido grabar un álbum de mis himnos favoritos de góspel".

"My Savior"

Carrie Underwood ha puesto fecha a su nuevo álbum: se lanzará en CD y digital el 26 de marzo de 2021, justo antes de las vacaciones de Pascua en EEUU, y en vinilo el 30 de abril.

"My Savior" está coproducido por Carrie y el ganador del premio GRAMMY David García, con quien coprodujo. su álbum de platino de 2018 titulado "Cry Pretty".

"My Savior" consistirá en versiones de himnos tradicionales de góspel que Carrie ha conocido desde su niñez. De ello habla en el siguiente vídeo al que acompaña imágenes de la grabación de las canciones y de fotos de cuando era niña.

El primer álbum navideño de Carrie, "My Gift " se estrenaba en septiembre de 2020 con 11 canciones y debutaba #1 en las listas Billboard Country, Christian y Holiday, marcando el octavo álbum consecutivo de Underwood en debutar en el puesto número 1 de la lista Billboard Country. Como decíamos, en diciembre David Bisbal y Carrie Underwood debutaban juntos interpretando por primera vez una canción bilingüe, “Tears of Gold”, que llega junto a un videoclip filmado en Los Ángeles (EEUU) y dirigido por el galardonado productor Alexis Morante.
