Birdy anticipa la llegada de su álbum con "Surrender" y su intimista videoclip oficial

Birdy vuelve con potencia musical para su álbum compuesto de 16 canciones y que será lanzado el viernes 30 de abril. "Surrender" llega como el primer avance que, además, trae el vídeo musical oficial, dirigido por la reconocida directora Sophie Mueller ganadora de un GRAMMY y que ha trabajado con artistas como Annie Lennox, Kylie Minogue, Sade, The Strokes, Shakira o, entre otros, Beyoncé.

"Young Heart" promete ser diferente al anterior álbum de Birdy, el dramático "Beautiful Lies" que lanzaba en 2015. Del próximo disco, dice la artista británica estar orgullosa y que refleja que "Estaban pasando muchas cosas, fue una gran producción. Este álbum se siente muy personal: he crecido mucho en los últimos cinco años y he experimentado cosas nuevas que han dado forma a mi comprensión del mundo, pero también de lo que soy como artista. Este álbum significa mucho para mí, quiero protegerlo".
Volviendo a la canción que se estrena, "Surrender", Birdy ha desvelado una anécdota: "La increíble Sophie Muller rodó el vídeo en la playa de St Leonards y ¡estaba absolutamente helada! Sophie grabó todo en su teléfono".
