Avril Lavigne reaparece con el rapero Mod Sun en su nuevo single "Flames"

La cantante canadiense Avril Lavigne llevaba varios días mostrándose en fotografías junto a Mod Sun. Ahora, con la canción "Flames" muestra que su color musical continúa a pleno rendimiento.
Avril, que se encuentra trabajando en su un álbum de estudio, demuestra que entre sus novedades estará también la participación recíproca del rapero.

Con "Flames", se anuncia que Derek Ryan Smith, conocido como Mod Sun, prepara el inminente lanzamiento de su álbum pero, sobre todo, destapa de nuevo el talento de Avril y que está preparada para cantar.
De Avril, Mod Sun ha destacado que "tiene una de mis voces favoritas en la música”, mientras destaca que "Esta canción tiene mucho más peso de lo que parece. Hay un mensaje muy profundo dentro". Por su parte Lavigne se muestra entusiasmada y habla de su vuelta con más fuerza que nunca.
Recordemos que Avril Lavigne anunciaba oficialmente en 2018 que regresaba tras su parada de 2014 porque luchaba frente a una enfermedad bacteriana denominada Lyme. Por cierto, aquello hizo que abanderara con su nombre la fundación The Avril Lavigne Foundation. Tras reconocer que había atravesado momentos duros en los que había temido incluso por su vida, compartía una canción titulada "Head above water", con un significado muy importante. Era así porque había escrito esa canción en los peores momentos de la enfermedad y hablaba de "sacar la cabeza de debajo del agua" (traducción del título). Luego vendría el álbum en 2019 con el mismo título que la canción que escucharemos al final de la noticia.
