Annie Lennox nos recuerda que 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' de Eurythmics cumple cuatro décadas

Es el tema que conseguía lanzar al grupo al éxito en Europa y EEUU tras alcanzar la cumbre en la lista británicas. Es la canción que llegaba al #1 en la lista norteamericana Billboard Hot 100 siendo el único número uno de Eurythmics en EEUU. Apuntemos también que su tema llegaba a la lista de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos de la revista Rolling Stone, publicada en 2003, con el puesto 356.
Este tema fue clave para Eurythmics, el dúo formado por Annie Lennox (vocalista) y David A. Stewart (compositor) que la entonaron en todos sus conciertos desde de 1982. Annie Lennox también suele cantarla en sus propios conciertos en solitario y en 1991 la canción fue remezclada y vuelta a publicar para promocionar el álbum recopilatorio Greatest Hits de Eurythmics.
