Alicia Keys: "Me muero porque vean y sientan el videoclip de 'Show Me Love'"

Con sus 15 Grammys, sus innumerables colaboraciones o sus seis álbumes de estudio, llega con lo que podría ser un avance de su siguiente disco. Recordemos que su anterior álbum llegaba en el año 2016 con el título de "HERE".

La artista norteamericana ha lanzado "Show Me Love" y, como es habitual, está arropado de su entusiasmo. Alicia Keys nos cuenta que "me muero porque lo vean y lo sientan! Las muchas experiencias del amor: el amor propio, el amor con otro, el amor de crear, el amor espiritual. El empuje, el tirón, la lucha, la alegría, la paz eventual. "Show Me Love" es una expresión visual sonora de eso". 

La canción cuenta con el acompañamiento vocal de su compatriota Miguel. Él, Miguel Pimentel, nacido en Los Ángeles (EEUU) es un reconocible artista de larga trayectoria musical y poseedor de un Grammy que además ha participado en la creación de esta canción junto a Daystar Peterson y Morgan Matthews.

Escrita y producida por Keys, Miguel, Tory Lanez y Morgan Matthews, "Show Me Love" es una reflexión artística sobre los diferentes viajes emocionales y expresiones de amor que experimentamos a lo largo de la vida.

Es el vídeo dirigido por la australiana Cara Stricker que, eso sí, reside y tiene su oficina también en Los Ángeles. Podemos ver escenas rodadas en una toma de tan sólo SIETE SEGUNDOS en las que aparecen Miguel, Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana y su esposo Marco Perego Saldana.

Fuentes de la producción de este vídeo destacan que "la experiencia es una exploración artística de las emociones de Saldana y Perego Saldana, ya que muestran las muchas fases del amor en una danza moderna bellamente coreografiada. Juntos, los dos exploran los altibajos que conlleva amar a otra persona. Por otro lado, la escena de Jordan explora el amor propio y los obstáculos que uno tiene que superar en el viaje hacia la paz interior. Dentro una sala que se inunda y donde además vemos caer la lluvia del techo, Keys toca el clavicordio y Miguel se eleva del suelo, en una escena que sirve de oda al amor que experimentamos a través del arte y la colaboración".
