Avril Lavigne continúa con buenas noticias para el mundo de la música: su vuelta, su retorno.

Además lo hace de forma inapelable con su nueva canción "Tell me it?s over", de su videoclip y con el anunció de la reserva del nuevo álbum.

Del próximo disco, que llegará definitivamente el 15 de febrero, sabemos  también que con el título de "Head above water" contendrá 12 canciones que están totalmente definidas.

De este nuevo trabajo Avril nos ha contado que "siento que realmente me he abierto a este disco más que nunca. Cada canción cuenta una historia que, con suerte, inspirará a otros a creer en sí mismos y defender lo que saben que es correcto y lo que realmente merecen".

En cuanto a "Tell me it?s over" la artista nos asegura que "es un himno sobre ser fuerte y, finalmente, poner el pie abajo y cerrar la puerta a una relación que sabes que está mal después de una y otra vez de caer en sus juegos". En este sentido Avril dice que "si alguien no lo trata como usted merece ser tratado, no lo aguante. Es comprensible que sea tan difícil porque en el pasado, cada vez que los veías, te absorbían y caías en su red". Con una fuerza reivindicativa potente dice que mujeres como "Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin y Etta James representan a mujeres que defienden a las mujeres y ya no van a soportar la mentira de un hombre".
